Company Director - PAUL DUANE
Paul Duane produced and directed Barbaric Genius, which was released theatrically in the UK & Ireland in May 2012. His new film Very Extremely Dangerous premieres in July 2012 at the Galway Film Fleadh. He was one of the originators of the hit ITV/Showtime drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and has directed many internationally successful drama series, including Ballykissangel, Casualty, The Royal and Footballers' Wives. He brings to Screenworks an ability to spot talent, stories and intellectual properties which can be adapted to the screen. Most recently he co-created and co-produced Screenworks' new drama series Amber with Rob Cawley.

Company Director - ROB CAWLEY
Rob Cawley has spent his varied career acquiring the skills which now give him the skillsets of a showrunner. He is primarily a writer, but also a producer. Rob's career began as a comedy writer and has written hit comedies for Irish broadcaster RTE and Australian broadcaster SBS among others. Over the past number of years he has also directed documentaries and high profile documentary series which in turn has broadened his skills as writer and as a producer. His credits include RESCUE 117 (Director – 6 x documentary series) and Amber (Producer/Writer 4 x 1 hour TV Drama for RTÉ/Screenworks)

Assistant Producer: Kate McEvoy
After graduating for DIT's Media Arts course in 2008, Kate McEvoy has managed to cram a wide variety of work into a very short space of time. Credits include co-ordinating primetime television shows for Mind the Gap, acting as production manager on a wide range of short films, a successful Storyland and a host of other projects or working for two of the capital's largest cultural events – the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival and the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival. Kate brings a strong work ethic & an eye for detail to any project.
Production

We make - TV DRAMA - FEATURE FILMS - FEATURE DOCUMENTARY - ANIMATION - TV SERIES - OTHER PRODUCTIONS AND IDEAS WHICH WE MIGHT BECOME PASSIONATE ABOUT.
Although we do have our own basic HD camera and sound equipment - we tailor the equipment used to each project - staying current means that we usually rent in specialised filming gear as required.
Post Production

Screenworks also has it's own in-house high spec editing systems - allowing us to keep costs down but also providing us and our clients with creative freedom in post production.

Screenworks Distribution
In May 2012 Screenworks distributed the feature documentary Barbaric Genius in the UK and Ireland, where it played in several cinemas - London, Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Leitrim. The film got four and five-star reviews and is currently being considered for further distribution in the USA. Screenworks now has considerable expertise in the field and are open to approaches for further ventures.
