Submitting Ideas to Screenworks.

Screenworks do sometimes meet with other producers, writers, artists and members of the public to develop ideas and to share coffee and other refreshments etc...

What is the thing that makes you grind your teeth at night? The chip on your shoulder and…. Other metaphorical clichés.

Bzzz… We believe that everyone has a wasp stuck between their ears… and if you don’t use writing or production as a way of letting that wasp out, then you’re not doing it right. Not really. Chances is if you’re not passionate what you want to make then neither will we...

A passion for a message you want to tell the world?

A passion for a character? – or more specifically a feeling that a character may have towards the world.

If you have a story to tell or have an idea - do get in touch.

Be aware though - we're choosy about the projects we get involved with.
We receive a lot of ideas, and we appreciate all of them. Although material sent by post will not be returned or kept confidential.

You should also be aware that stories, ideas, suggestions, essays, audio, video, photographs or related materials and any other materials of any kind may be submitted to Screenworks by multiple sources --- so that a submission may be similar to others ideas generated by someone else or developed independently by Screenworks employees. We don't rip off ideas - we're just making you aware that often what you think is an original idea --- in fact isn't.

It is likely that during busy periods we won't reply to you for a long time, if at all - Please don't take offense.

Likewise we recieve a lot of CV's. When we're hiring we'll let you know on our twitter feed or via other websites.
