Our History

SCREENWORKS LTD formed in Feb 2009 to produce high quality TV, FILM and Interactive Media content for the Irish and international markets. The company is now applying their resources to building a successful Dublin-based production enterprise.

Our Ethos

Integral to our ethos is a bold approach to filmmaking. As well as coming up with concepts of our own, we seek out original, and cutting edge projects from other writers, producers, directors, authors and members of the public.

What We Love

We're creative producers - in that our preference is to come up with our own ideas, our own scripts, or to work with other creatives to develop their ideas to a point where an idea, a story, just has to be made. We're primarily storytellers, though we do like our technology too .

Screenworks...

In the past two years Screenworks has made a €2 million drama series, Amber for RTE, as well as two acclaimed feature documentaries which have screened internationally. Our directors are creatively involved in all of the projects we pursue, and we have gained a reputation for ambition, originality, creativity and excellence within our industry.

We will continue to develop our TV drama and feature film production slate with fresh new ideas, a strong track record with funders and good relationships with other production companies at home and abroad. SCREENWORKS is a brand for excellence in TV production among our primary markets.

Our production and development slate will expand as we seek out new projects and new investors – as we further our reputation and experience. We have secured production and development funding for a variety of upcoming projects. In addition we will to continue to develop new concepts and ideas for production.
